Returns & Refunds Policy

We’ve tried to make our returns process as simple as possible. Whatever your reason for needing to make a return, please read the information below and contact us to begin the process.

Important: Please ensure returns are packaged safely and securely, and sent with a tracking number. Keep your tracking number for future reference.

Returning Unwanted Products (Change of Mind)

Products can be returned for any reason within 30 days of the initial purchase.

  • You are responsible for return postage costs for unwanted items (we recommend Royal Mail Tracked 48, typically £3-5)
  • Single cards must be returned in the same condition as purchased
  • Sealed products and accessories must be returned in their original packaging, undamaged and unopened
  • Products not returned in this condition will be refunded at 50% of the sale value

Please note: Once opened, sealed TCG products (booster boxes, booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, tins, etc.) cannot be returned for change of mind, as they contain randomised contents with variable value.

Returning Faulty or Damaged Products

If you receive faulty goods or goods damaged in transit, we will make it right. You have 30 days from receiving your order to report faulty or damaged items.

  • Contact us first at teddy@shuffleandskirmish.co.uk with photos showing the fault or damage
  • We cover all return postage costs for faulty or damaged items
  • Products returned for being faulty or damaged in transit are normally replaced with identical products, or refunded in full if replacement is not possible
  • Early reporting (within 2-3 days) helps us investigate courier damage and resolve issues faster

Your statutory rights: You have the right to reject faulty goods for a full refund within 30 days. Beyond 30 days and up to 6 months, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund. These rights extend up to 6 years from purchase in certain circumstances.

How to Return an Item

Step 1: Contact Us

Email us at teddy@shuffleandskirmish.co.uk with:

  • Your order number
  • Reason for return (unwanted / faulty / damaged)
  • Photos (if claiming fault or damage)

Step 2: Receive Return Instructions

We’ll respond within 48 hours with:

  • Confirmation of your return
  • Our returns address

Step 3: Pack and Send Your Return

  • Pack items securely to prevent damage in transit. We recommend returning items in original packaging
  • For single cards: use a rigid toploader and bubble mailer
  • For sealed products: use adequate padding
  • Use tracked postage and keep your receipt
  • Send to the address we provided

Step 4: Receive Your Refund

Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund within 14 days.

Refund Information

Processing time: Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving your return.

Refund method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method:

  • Credit/Debit cards: 3-5 working days after processing
  • PayPal: 1-2 working days after processing

What’s refunded:

  • For unwanted items: Product price only (you pay return postage)
  • For faulty/damaged items: Full product price + original delivery cost + return postage cost

Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened sealed TCG products (booster boxes, packs, ETBs with broken seals)
  • Products marked as “final sale” or “clearance – no returns”
  • Personalised or custom orders

Exchanges

We don’t offer direct exchanges. If you’d like a different item, please return the original for a refund and place a new order.

Exception: If we sent the wrong item or your item was damaged, we’ll arrange a replacement at no cost to you.

Missing or Lost Parcels

All orders include tracking. If your parcel shows as delivered but you haven’t received it:

  1. Check with neighbours and household members
  2. Look for safe places the courier may have left it
  3. Review tracking information for delivery details
  4. Contact us within 7 days if you still can’t locate it

We’ll investigate with the courier and help resolve the issue.

Your Consumer Rights

This policy doesn’t affect your statutory rights under UK consumer law. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have specific rights when purchasing online.
